Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Certification
Audience
For health care providers and prehospital responders who provide care to patients in a wide variety of medical settings or by those in a health care training program.
Objectives
The AHA’s BLS Provider Course has been updated to reflect new science in the 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC. This course teaches basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings, with a focus on high-quality CPR, improvement of chest compression fraction, and high-performing team dynamics. The BLS Provider Course teaches rescue techniques for adults, children and infants.
Length
The course is 3-4 hours, with a DVD presentation, lecture, practical application, written exam and skills test.

AHA Heartsaver® First Aid, CPR & AED Certification
Audience
For anyone with little or no medical training who needs a First Aid CPR AED course completion card for their job, regulatory or other requirements; or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
Objectives
The participants who complete this training program will be certified by the American Heart Association as a First Aid & CPR/AED Provider. You will learn to perform CPR and use an AED for adults and relief of choking, with optional modules for children and infants. You will also learn to manage illness and injury until professional help arrives. Includes general principles, medical emergencies, injury management, and environmental emergencies. American Heart Association certification eCard provided.

AHA Family & Friends CPR Training
Audience
For anyone with little or no medical training who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting (No certification card provided).
Objectives
The AHA’s Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, child CPR, adult and child AED use, infant CPR, and choking relief for adults, children, and infants. Family & Friends CPR is for community members, family members or friends who wishes to learn lifesaving CPR skills but do not require certification.
*This class is NOT for Certification.

2-3 hours , with DVD presentation, lecture, discussion, practical application and skills testing.
